Emily Bett Rickards was born in July 1991. She is an Canadian actress best known for her role for her role as Felicity on The CW's television show Arrow. Rickards was born and raised to British Columbia. She began her acting career from a young age, studying musical theatre, dance as well as other types of entertainment. She finished high school before her schedule and began studying at the Vancouver Film School where she was awarded the Acting Essentials Certificate. After the course was completed and attending an audition open to the public, which gained her an agent. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. Her chemistry with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from fans and her sarcastic remarks led to being initially signed for one episode as a Guest Star.
